Abstract:
The ability of [research] units in conceiving and implementing strategies aimed at improving their organizational performance, especially through the acquisition of financial resources necessary for their tasks, has been a central topic of investigation (Weisenburger and Mangematin 1995) and it is still matter for discussion.
